I Can't Find My Glasses

Interesting little adventure game about going through a bunch of increasingly more strange rooms just to find your glasses. It's very simple, mainly in that the gameplay is simplified to walking and exploring the different environents you come across, but there's a layer of charm to it all. Sure it's simple, but it's interesting way of conveying an experience that only videogames can provide. And the amateurish nature of it all (using stock sprites, relaxed gameplay, etc.) is decently inspiring, showing that I don't need to throw all my effort into crafting elaborate art and lore for whatever I make. Creating something unique and interesting goes a long way in it's own right.

Under a Star Called Sun

This was a wonderful little fiction piece about distance, isolation, and memory-deterioration. You take a walk through a space station as a lonesome person yearning going through their daily tasks and yearning to see their loved one again. The core of the game occurs within a memory-recreation chamber where we both understand more of the life this protagonist had as well as understand that they're memories (and in-turn, their ability to see their loved one) will eventually become obsolete. It's a emotional narrative that is very well told and beautifully visualized through the artwork as well as calminng music.
